Creating a platform for future growth and renewed collaboration, Moore North America has announced a line-up of inspiring international speakers for its conference in Denver this May.
A wealth of industry and motivational speakers will fuel two days of creativity and skill-sharing for the over 120 delegates from firms across the world including the UK, South Africa, and Germany. Jeff Evans, a world-class mountaineer, guide, and emergency medic is on the roster of speakers. While filming the series ‘Everest Air’ for the Travel Channel, Jeff served as the chief medic and team leader for the highest helicopter-based search and rescue team in the world on the flanks of Mt Everest. By utilizing real life stories, vivid images, and thrilling videos from his adventures around the globe, Jeff will speak about the fact that we are all guides in some capacity professionally and personally.
Dr. Sharon Lassar, CPA, Professor, and Director of the School of Accountancy at The University of Denver will be sharing her thoughts on bridging education and the world of work. Meanwhile, Allan Koltin, CPA, who is one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in the accounting profession for twenty-one years running, will be speaking twice. He will provide an overview of the changes, opportunities, and challenges taking place in the profession today including the emergence of Private Equity and Alternative Practice Structures. He will also speak to emerging leaders about what it takes to lead an accounting and consulting firm in today’s rapidly changing and more competitive environment.
Ellen O'Sullivan, Executive Director of Moore North America, said: “Bringing our firms together is something that defines the very essence of our association, as it provides an opportunity to share experiences, knowledge, and insight. It's also a great opportunity to connect and build relationships that enable us to do business in a more coordinated and streamlined fashion.”
“Moore provides a space for world-leading accounting and business services professionals to collaborate. The North American market is going through an exciting period of recovery after years of instability and our ELEVATE conference will allow our partners to best capitalize on that growth.”
