The range consists of ‘Gatenby’ (roast pork dinner with herby potatoes), ‘Heritage’ (premium pork pie seasoned with peppers, herbs and garlic), and ‘Highland’ (a taste of Scotland with a hint of spice and spring onions), with the pies in squares and wrapped individually for the deli.
Vale of Mowbray MD Mark Gatenby said: “This is a real step-change for the market, and we are proud to be able to make the investment to drive innovation and growth.”
Vale of Mowbray, which was established in 1795 and bakes over 1.5 million pies every single week, has a number of other exciting NPD projects in the pipeline, with more products set to launch in the coming months.

Recent NPD has led to 30 new roles being created at our production site, as well as being the impetus behind growing our sales and business development team, and we’re really excited to see where we can go next.”
