Celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, NGI Solutions continues to grow its service offering and client base, with a range of new projects won including content marketing work with North of England Commissioning Support Unit (NECS), helping to raise the profile of new Durham development, Milburngate, and event impact research for the recent European Professional Club Rugby Finals. The new recruits will add to the team’s experience across research, marketing and PR, and digital.

Jenny File has joined the team as Marketing Manager, bringing with her a broad range of strategic marketing experience across both commercial and charitable sectors. Most recently Jenny worked at online and catalogue-based ethical retailer Traidcraft, having previously held different marketing roles as a VSO volunteer in Indonesia and for various media publications including The Independent.

Joining the team as Digital Marketing Manager, Lisa Kelly brings with her ten years of experience in digital marketing agencies and recently in-house at one of the UK’s biggest fast-fashion companies. She has implemented successful digital campaigns and strategies for a host of well-known brands and industries, across consumer, B2B and third sector, as well as being responsible for a Facebook page which was named ‘most loved UK brand’ by SocialBakers in 2018.

Completing the trio of new recruits is David Bowe who joins NGI Solutions as a Research Executive. A graduate of Newcastle University, David previously worked in strategy and product innovation for a North East-based housing association, bringing with him experience in data analysis, horizon scanning and product development.

Kathie Wilcox, NGI Solutions Director, said: “We’re really proud of how much the business has achieved in just five years and with the talented team we have in place are targeting further growth over the next couple of years.

“We’ve won a few really exciting projects recently, including work for Milburngate and NECS, with much more in the pipeline across our areas of expertise.”

As part of its 5th anniversary the agency has launched a new look website (www.ngisolutions.com) to better represent its services, previous work and personality of the team.

“Our digital team has revamped the website to showcase the work we do to provide intelligent insight and creative solutions to our clients. We also wanted to show off our greatest assets - our talented, friendly and approachable team.”

Launched in 2014, all profits from Gateshead-based NGI Solutions are reinvested back into the work of NewcastleGateshead Initiative to promote the North East and drive economic growth.
