MMR acquires creative digital communications agency, Together.

On Tuesday 10th March MMR Group acquired Together, an insights driven creative agency that specialise in branding, digital marketing, social media, communications and packaging design. Since its inception in 2006 by business partners Nick Honey and Jonathan Turner, the Nottingham-based agency has grown rapidly in to a dynamic team of 26, with expertise across all areas of the marketing communications industry including web development, UX/UI design, art direction, copywriting and social strategy, as well as remaining a sustainable and successful business with a turnover of £2.3m.

‘We’ve nurtured the agency over the last 14 years through thick and thin and are really proud of the team and what we’ve achieved. This acquisition represents the latest move from MMR to build a stronger, more impactful marketing services group. Capitalising on the reach and reputation of the MMR business, this powerhouse of companies will now offer a wider range of services to a combined client portfolio spanning CPG, healthcare, leisure, travel and property.

As well as strengthening MMR’s market positioning and providing a platform for Together to develop in to a global brand, the acquisition provides greater business infrastructure, a global office network and the benefit of cross-company collaboration – beautifully complementing the previous acquisition of video production agency Ideal Insight, the creation of brand strategy consultancy Huxly and joint venture Cubo Innovation (partnership with Food Innovation Solutions) in 2018.

Honey and Turner will both continue to lead the agency, which will remain in Nottingham, with no other planned staff changes.
